Medical waste autoclave, the core technology is the use of high-temperature steam sterilization of waste processing, that is, moist heat sterilization. Using high-temperature saturated steam as the working medium, it uses its strong penetrating power to penetrate deeply into the sterilized goods and release the latent heat contained in the steam, which causes the sterilized goods to warm up rapidly to the sterilization temperature and then maintain it for a period of time, causing the protein in the bacteria to coagulate and denature, thus killing all microorganisms including bacterial spores.

Steam sterilization works by using the latent heat released by steam at a certain pressure, and factors such as the internal temperature of the waste, steam penetration and processing time can ultimately affect the sterilization effect. Steam sterilization is usually most effective when it has sufficient penetration of crushed medical waste at a certain pressure and when the temperature at the center of the loaded waste reaches 134°C.

Steam sterilization consists of two methods: 1) steam sterilization followed by shredding and 2) shredding followed by steam sterilization.

Sterilization followed by shredding is specifically the first medical waste into a special pressure vessel, and then vacuum, high temperature, high pressure and other steam sterilization treatment, so that the treated waste to meet the required safety standards for discharge, and then by a special shredder completely destroyed shredded. First crushing and then sterilization is specifically the first chemically disinfected medical waste into a sealed chamber. In this sealed chamber is equipped with a crusher to dismantle the medical waste, and then the crushed waste residue is sent into the sterilization chamber. After vacuum autoclaving in the sterilization chamber, the waste is compressed and transported to a sanitary landfill.

Crushing followed by sterilization is a complex and costly method, so the prior art often uses sterilization followed by crushing. The shortcomings of sterilization followed by crushing are: 1) the sterilization effect is not good, especially when there is a large amount of medical waste, it is difficult for the steam to penetrate all the medical waste; 2) the sterilization process is clumped, which affects the subsequent discharge, transportation and crushing process is normal.

Medical Waste Autoclave Features:

◆ Low noise, low energy consumption, large processing volume, no pollution emission, no soot or any gas produced during the processing.

◆ The waste gas wastewater and other bacteria-containing emissions produced in the sterilization process are discharged after the sterilization treatment.

◆ The sterilization treatment method is not affected by the composition of the waste, and the sterilization effect will not be affected by the high or low calorific value of the waste.
